High interest in HSM & C-View Certificate Management
during ITechDays 2020
Exhibiting as a Strategic Partner at ITechDay 2020 in Warsaw was an excellent opportunity for us to present our services and products to nearly 800 IT professionals from the whole country.

The need to use an Hardware Security Module (HSM)
HSMs are responsible for the secure generation and storage of cryptographic keys that are used throughout the organizations’ IT ecosystem to secure the foundation of any modern crypto system. They also act as dedicated cryptographic processing devices using cryptographic algorithms compliant with the FIPS 140-2 security standard.
General purpose HSM ensure the security of cryptographic key material for servers and applications. They can be used for the most common business applications, such as:

- Key Injection for securing devices in the IoT

eIDAS-compliant CC-certified HSM – Utimaco CryptoServer CP5
The Utimaco CryptoServer CP5 is a perfect solution for eIDAS-compliant qualified signature creation and convenient remote signing. It is based on the CryptoServer Se Gen2 hardware platform and Common Criteria-certified according to the eIDAS Protection Profile (PP) EN 419 221-5 “Cryptographic Module for Trust Services”.
CP5 supports Trust Service Providers (TSPs) in fulfilling policy and security requirements defined in various ETSI technical standards (ETSI EN 319 401, EN 319 411, EN 319 421).
Other application areas include the issuing of qualified certificates, PKI and time stamping. The HSM is available as a PCIe plug-in card or as network-attached appliance.
